LEBANON BUSINESSES

Located ½ block west of Main Street on West Grant in downtown Lebanon, Mrs. B's Special Teas serves up tea, coffee, pastries, deserts and lunches. Hours are 10-5 M-F and Saturday "High Tea." Mrs. B's also has a good selection of Christian cards, gifts and Red Hat Society items.

Courtney Creek is a Christian bookstore and cafe now located at the north end of Lebanon, at 525 Main Street. Crafting classes (quilting, scrapbooking, etc.) are offered regularly. Open Monday - Saturday, with an Acoustic Cafe every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Located in Sweet Home at 1603 Main Street, John McIntosh offers guitar, bass guitar and flute lessons, plus repair of brass and woodwind band instruments. Phone 541.367.5651

Located in Lebanon at the corner of Second and W. Vine, Pregnancy Alternatives Center offers parenting classes, health screenings, pregnancy tests, baby clothes, information, counseling, referrals and more. They offer hope! Open Mon., Wed., 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Tue., Thu., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Phone 541.258.3500.

OTHER WILLAMETTE VALLEY BUSINESSES


Bible Book House was started in 1941 by a group of Christian businessmen who sought to fill a need. The red, barn shaped building used to be a roller rink and still sports the hardwood floor that was used for skating.

Rainbow West purchased Bible Book House in May, 2004.


Now doing business as the "new Parable Christian bookstore" they previously advertised as the "Original Christian Supply" which can be confusing because they're not part of the Christian Supply chain. Their new store opened in the summer of 2005, next to Rice's Pharmacy (across from Fred Meyer) in Corvallis.

Rainbow West has stores in Salem and Albany. The Salem store's sign says Rainbow West Outlet. Rainbow West recently purchased Salem's Bible Book House ending its 63-year run under family ownership.
