Southside Kids is our children’s ministry program, led by a team of ministry workers who all share the same vision of reaching kids for the sole purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with them. We strive to provide a fun and safe environment while using curriculum designed specifically for kids of all ages and grades.
As children go through our program, they will know the love of Jesus and grow spiritually mature, while building lasting relationships with our ministry workers, as well as other kids in our program.
We focus on 4 spiritual habits in our classrooms: spend time with God, spend time with others, use your gifts, and share your story. We believe children are equally important in the church family, their spiritual gifts and story are important to share, and the situations they experience even as children are connected to God’s overall story. We maintain that parents are the primary faith influencers for their children, and as we partner with them in developing these spiritual habits, it will help equip parents as they raise their children with a strong faith based foundation in their homes.
